Dear Friend of SBI,

It is our singular privilege to invite you to our first in-person SBI SME Indaba and networking session.

We will be holding a half-day indaba to, amongst others, publicly release the findings and recommendations of its research study titled, “The real cost of municipal dysfunction on small businesses,” which was conducted on SBI’s behalf by Mtiya Dynamics.

The SBI SME Indaba will be held:

Date:  Tuesday 17 October 2023
Venue:  Bryanston Country Club, 63 Bryanston Dr, Bryanston, Sandton, 2191
Time:  9 am – 3 pm
Cost: Free of charge (our treat – kindly click the registration button below to book your seat)

Our SME indabas are designed to highlight to policy makers, the media, and influential commentators the challenges SMEs face to start, run and grow in South Africa and in turn, to learn from them. Dysfunctional municipalities, cumbersome red tape and delayed payments by both the public and private sector discourage entrepreneurial dynamism and innovation. Without an environment to support SMEs we have no hope of a growing, employing economy.
